** CONGRATULATIONS ESFC ** 1st place * 2008 Character Classic Tournament * * 2007 Arsenal Tournament * * 2007 Autumn Bash Tournament * KC Select Metro League at LSSA - March - May, 2008   This Lee's Summit team plays an attacking style of soccer which is fun to play and a joy to watch.  Our program focuses on developing youth soccer skills, ball movement, solid defense, social skills, and teamwork through positive reinforcement and recognition of each player.  East Side prides itself in its low fees, which allows anyone the availability to play.   For more info. please visit our website: www.eastsidefc.net   KC Select East Side FC is a U10 competitive boys team that had its beginnings as a recreational team.  Through their parents efforts as coaches, and the love of the game, the boys improved significantly and were encouraged to take it to the next level.  East Side FC was established in 2006 and joined LSSA in the fall in their 'B' Division.  The first season of competitive soccer was eventful and the team took 3rd place overall in the KC Metro League.  East Side proved a force to be reckoned with when they participated in their first tournament and took home 3rd place (losing to 2nd by just one point) in the Raytown Autumn Bash.  However the following year they took home the Championship in the Autumn Bash, and thereafter in the Raytown Arsenal tournament and the Blue Springs Character Classic.  Last spring we were excited to announce that the team joined the KC Select Soccer Club.       Although there are many parents involved, the team is coached primarily by Mike Wisniewski and Chris Bussen (both licensed through MYSA).  However we all try to challenge the boys to be the best that they can be; all the while creating friendships and having fun learning the fundamentals of the game that we all enjoy.    For the Fall/Spring 2007/08 season we will have a U10 team. Our expected fees for each season are $75 each.   For more information about the East Side FC team contact: Coach Mike Wisniewski (816) 377-3458.
